MY STORY SO FAR…
Vince Emerson Media began in 2011 when James Hardiment and Brandon Rainey started a YouTube channel that aired various comedy sketches filmed while they attended University. In the summer, that same year, the pair embarked on a feature length film called “Windigo” which was a found footage horror style production that spanned 1 hour and 30 minutes in length. The film has been on YouTube since November of that year and has gained over 1 million views.
After Windigo the duo penned a variety of comedy sketches and a 2 season sitcom in 2012 with stand-up comedian David “Squeaky Wheelz” Robbins, who then went on to co-star in the short film “Speechless”. The film was 15 minutes in length and was inspired by classic after-school specials.
Rainey left the project in 2013 to pursue other dreams and as of 2016 Hardiment has written, produced and sung songs that were part of his 2017 album “Wine”. The collection is available to stream, download and buy on Compact Disc.
2023 saw James return to performing original music live, a first since his high school days, and now his new 20 track album “Rescue Me”, is available on CD as well as digital. The song ‘Corrupted’, embedded below, is one of the bigger songs from that release. Stay tuned, as James has more filmmaking plans on the way this fall 2024!
